PawPals is Toronto’s highest rated puppy yoga studio, with a 5.0-star Google rating and more than 650 reviews.
Since opening our doors in downtown Toronto in 2022, we’ve welcomed tens of thousands of guests into our King Street East studio for puppy yoga classes, birthday parties, private celebrations and corporate events.
We’re incredibly proud of the reviews, but the number itself is really just the result of how we’ve chosen to run PawPals from the beginning.
We’ve never wanted to become the biggest puppy yoga company.
We want to be the best.
PawPals Is Owner Operated
PawPals is still very much an owner-operated business.
I’m Gigi, the founder of PawPals, and I’m in the studio all the time. I know our instructors, our event team, our breeder partners and the puppies coming through our doors. I see the classes. I talk to guests. I notice when something feels great and when something could be better.
As we’ve grown, staying close to the actual experience has remained incredibly important to me.
There is a difference between owning a business and actually being present inside it.
At PawPals, I want guests to feel that someone cares about the details.

We Believe Small Is Good When Animals Are Involved
PawPals operates one studio in downtown Toronto.
That is intentional.
There are plenty of businesses where scaling quickly makes perfect sense. We don’t think animal care is one of them.
Working with puppies requires attention. It requires knowing the people bringing the puppies into your space, understanding how the puppies are doing that day and being willing to adjust when the animals need something different.
Staying a single-studio business allows us to remain close to every part of that process.
It also allows us to be selective about the breeders we work with and thoughtful about the environment we create for each litter.
For us, smaller means more personal, more accountable and more connected to the dogs in our care.

Teddy Is at the Centre of PawPals
At the centre of PawPals is my own dog, Teddy.
PawPals is, in many ways, a love story to dogs. Especially him.
Teddy has always been our north star.
The patience, gentleness, respect and love I want for him are the same standards I bring into the business. When I think about how puppies should be handled, how long they should be in the studio, how the energy of a class should feel or who we should work with, Teddy is always somewhere in that thinking.
The business may be built around joy, but the dogs come first.
That philosophy shapes everything from the breeders we choose to work with to the way our team interacts with puppies during every class.
Our Team Actually Loves Being Here
A huge part of the PawPals experience is our team.
We genuinely like each other.
We love dogs.
We love our classes.
And I think guests can feel that almost immediately.
There is an energy that comes from being around people who are happy to be there. Our instructors know how to keep a room relaxed and fun. Our puppy team is constantly watching the dogs, helping guests interact with them and making sure everyone gets those little moments that make the experience special.
It doesn’t feel corporate or scripted because it isn’t.
It feels like PawPals.
More Than Puppy Yoga Classes
PawPals began with puppy yoga, but over the years the studio has become a place where people come to celebrate, reconnect and do something that simply makes them happy.
Our weekly puppy yoga classes in Toronto combine an accessible all-levels yoga class with plenty of puppy interaction and social time.
We also host birthday puppy yoga parties and private celebrations, from children’s birthdays to milestone celebrations and private groups.
For companies, we create corporate puppy yoga and puppy wellness events in Toronto, both in our downtown studio and at offices and event spaces across the city.
Those experiences may look different, but the philosophy behind them is the same: make people feel welcome, take care of the puppies and create something genuinely joyful.
